Barry Bonds Indictment

Barry Bonds was indicted today for perjury and obstruction of justice for telling the grand jury that he did not knowingly use performance enhancement drugs. If found guilty he could serve up to 30 years in jail. Are you serious? I'm not saying that he should not be punished for committing a crime...do the crime, do the time. What I am saying is that we all know that steroid use is prominent amongst players in Major League Baseball. I'm not saying that all of the players use it but I am saying that Bonds is not the only player who should be investigated. Bonds should have been a mediocre player throughout his entire baseball career...he shouldn't have done too much or too little. He should have did just enough to keep him in the league because eyebrows started raising as soon as he started breaking records and surpassing his counterparts(if you know what I mean). It sounds to me like someone doesn't what to see this brown skinned gentleman succeed. What do you think? Bonds needs someone on his legal team who is not afraid to play the Race Card! Where is the Rainbow Coalition, Jesse Jackson or Al Sharton when you need them?
